Should I Recite 3 Our Fathers, Hail Marys and Glorias?

I have heard that it is necessary to say 3 Hail Marys, 3 Our Father's, and 3 Glory Be's after each time you pray the Novena. Do you not do this?

ANSWER
There are several ways to pray the St. Jude's novena and one of them involves reciting our father, the hail Mary and gloria prayers only once and some say should be three times.

Some don't even mention it. It is up to the person praying. The most important of all is to reinforce your hope and belief. I have included here the three prayers you suggest:

Our Father
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Gloria
Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
